Simonstown Gaels were proud to represent Meath in the 2023 Lidl’s One Good Club programme. We are delighted to say we have successfully completed the programme and what a success it has been.
Throughout the programme we carried out a number of initiatives to implement and promote the Jigsaw five a day for your mental health, in order to improve the overall health and wellbeing of our members and the community.
1. Connect with others.
2. Be active
3. Take notice
4. Keep learning.
5. Give
The programme was an impactful way to help connect our club to our wider community for a greater good. As a club we have seen the positive effect it has had on our members and the community, and we have no doubt we will continue to see the impact for many months and years to come.
We would like to thank everyone who made the effort to attend the events and to thank all our sponsors for supporting our events.
A special thank you to Jigsaw Meath for providing mental health support and workshops to our community and members.
