Frankie Cullen and Michael Gavin were also on the mark before the interval.
After the break the hosts added 6 points from play Sean Conlon 2, Peter Duffy, Eoghan Gough, Shane McEnery and Ruairi Brady one point each to leave Simonstown leading 1—12 to 0—7 with 17 second half minutes on the clock. Tones then had a purple patch in which they scored 3—3 and went into a four point lead. The Sky blues regrouped and the Tones goal had a few lucky escapes before the final whistle.
