Simonstown's seniors are in action again on Sunday week, September 12, against Gaeil Colmcille in the final round of their SFC group. The game has been fixed for Pairc Tailteann at 2.30 and with the new 50 per cent capacity guideline applying, there should be no problem accommodating the crowd. Tickets will still need to be purchased however.
Defeat to Wolfe Tones, coming after the first round defeat to Moynalvey, has left the team now facing a relegation quarter-final.
Before that the 'seconds' have a chance to book a place in the Premier Division Two semi-final when they host St Colmcille's in Simonstown on Thursday, September 9 (8pm).
Simonstown are in second place to Ratoath on points difference but St Colmcille's have been going well and beat St Patrick's comfortably in their last game, having gone down to Navan O'Mahony's by just a point before that.
The 'thirds' are out on Saturday, September 11, in Simonstown against Rathkenny at 2.30 and will be hoping to build on a good performance against Skryne in the last round.
