An early goal blitz saw Simonstown seconds keep up strong pressure in the Premier Division Two as they recorded a fourth win from five games.
The game was effectively over at the first water break when the visitors led by 4-4 to 0-4, the goals coming from Chris O'Neill (two), Mark Farrell and Luke Caffrey.
The goal rout was complete by the interval with Shane McEnery on the mark twice for a 6-8 to 0-7 lead.
It evened out after that but Caffrey finished with 1-4 on what was a productive night for all the forwards.
With wins over Dunboyne, Na Fianna, St Patrick's and now Summerhill, Simonstown are currently top of the group on eight points with a game in hand over Navan O'Mahony's who have seven points. Summerhill, with five games played, also have seven points.
