The U15 team has made considerable progress over the last number of weeks to set themselves up for a Division One semi-final against St Colmcille's in Piltown on Saturday morning (11.30)
A place in the penultimate stages was secured when they beat Seneschalstown by 3-8 to 1-12 last weekend to make fourth place.
It follows a number of very competitive performances in the top flight for this team who were originally scheduled to contest Division Three of the U-15 league but were upgraded.
The move to Division One has been validated with wins over Trim and Ratoath, a draw with Walterstown before last weekend's two--point win over Seneschalstown. Even in the games that were lost to St Colmcille's, Dunboyne and Donaghmore-Ashbourne, the margins of defeat were just four, four and three points in each of these games.
The team featured many of the players who have stepped up from U13 in 2020 when they won the Roinn A title.
