Players should:

Play by the rules
Work equally hard for yourself and your team.
Be a good sport.
Show respect to and acknowledge opponents and officials.
Co-operate with your coach, team-mates and support staff.
Co-operate with club officials and staff.
Respect all club equipment and infrastructure.
Be on time for training sessions, matches and competitions so as not to disrupt the smooth running of the team.
Participate for their enjoyment and benefit.
Respect the rights dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

Simonstown Children’s Officers Team

The Children’s Officers role is central to maintaining the safeguarding of young people in Simonstown Gaels GFC and they assist in promoting a child and youth centred ethos in the Club.

They ensure the legal requirements governing those who work as coaches and mentors are maintained and they promote the GAA Code of Behaviour (Underage)*, so that our Juvenile members can participate, enjoy, and benefit from our Gaelic Games in safe and enjoyable surroundings.
