Further  white flag  scores from Jack Collier,Ruairi Brady, Cian Newman and Farrelly left Simons in front 1—5 to 0—5 with twenty five played.  Two minutes later  Aaron Farrelly palmed  Simons second goal after some fine combination play between himself and Jack Collier.
