***Simonstown U/15’s Progress To The Final***
Simonstown U/15’s secured their place in the Division 3 final with a win over Clonard/Ballinabrackey in Simonstown. In what was tricky playing conditions with a strong cross field wind, it was the home team that settled the quickest.
Simonstown had a solid lead going into half time which in part was down to the lads having an almost full panel to call upon for the first time in a number of weeks. The away team, to their credit, battled on and played some lovely passing moves to move up the pitch and their midfield being industrious in their work through out the game. Simonstown were fortunate to have been able to call upon their bench to see the game out and its onto the final in 2 weeks time. The very best of luck to Clonard/Ballinabrackey for the remainder of the season.
