The Hope Foundation
HOPE is an Irish charity founded in 1999 and operating over 60 projects working with street and slum children and their families in Kolkata(Calcutta), India, in the areas of: protection, healthcare & nutrition, education, life skills & vocational training, awareness & capacity building and emergency response.
Our very own Shauna Laverty will travel to Kolkata as part of her school Immersion programme in October 2024 and will see first-hand the work they do with these children and families. Shauna is having a bake sale in the clubhouse on Saturday 25th of May and all funds raised will be donated directly to The Hope Foundation. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
