Simonstown 1-11  Ballivor 3—10.
     Simonstown open their account with two  points from Harry Devlin and one from David Kavanagh.  But two goals  that were helped by wet conditions in first ten minutes for Ballivor left Simonstown with an uphill struggle as the hosts led 2—1 to 0—3.The Navan men knuckled down with  good defending  and  further points from Ruairi Brady(2)1f, Anthony McDonagh, Kavanagh and Brian Neary to be level at the half time break 2—2 to 0—8. 
Ballivor dominated the exchanges early in second half to lead 2—8 to  0—10 at the three quarter mark with Joe Lyons and  Brady on target for the visitors. Fionn O Hanluain then chipped over  the Ballivor goalkeeper after Anthony McDonagh had intercepted a kick out. O Hanluain added q point shortly after to leave scoreboard  reading  ballivor 2—10  Simons 1—11. As Simonstown attacked a late break away reuted with a goal for the hosts left the score at the Final whistle  Ballivor 3—10 Simons 1—11.​
