      This 10.30am  Sunday morning Division 8 fixture  (3rd Team)in Simonstown was slow to get into its stride.

A long range point from Cormac McHugh and a Conor Sherdian free had the hosts  0—2 to 0—1 in front after twenty minutes. Sherdian  and Jack Melia added two more from play to put Simons 0—4 to 0—2 up at half time. Simonstown had Ronan Duffy to thank  for their lead as he brought off two great saves  in one on one suitations  just before  the break.

    Joe Lyons put the Navan  men further ahead when  he slotted  over. Jack Melia then hit two (1f) before he and Lyons combined with a neat one two for Jack to lash to net. Conor Sherdian added a free and Simons led 1—​8 to 0--4 with ten minutes remaining. Bective went on all out attack and recorded two points (1F). A close in Bective free was deflected to the net  and left just two between them on twenty eight minutes.  Simonstown defense stood firm and recorded a deserved win after losing to Dunderry on Thursday night. Final Score Simons 1—8  Bective 1—6.​
